The Costa del Sol, from Nerja to Manilva is a place that is well worth visiting. Nerja is the first locality that we´ll find as we work our way to Salobreña, the distance is only of 20 minutes by car.

Nerja and it´s caves can be a great first place to stop and enjoy the views of the Balcon de Europe (europe´s balcony) and continue on to Axarquia, in first place Torrox and then through Torre del Mar, until arriving in the capital, Malaga. In Malaga we can visit the Picasso Museum where you´ll be able to contemplate the work of art of one of the greatest and most universal painter in the XX century. Also the cathedral is a great place to visit, the historic center and the Merced.

After Malaga comes Torremolinos, Benalmadena, all of these cities have important and interesting places to visit like the budhist Stupe in Benalmadena, or the Burro-Taxis in Mijas town, without forgetting to mention the Carihuela in Torrremolinos. As we continue our trip we´ll arrive in Marbella, one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world. Puerto Banus and it´s luxurious yachts and glamour, or the old town of Marbella, an authentic treat to the eyes. Having a coffee in the Plaza de los Naranjos in Marbella or in the marina of Puerto Banus is also a good reccomendation.

We then follow to Estepona, were can get lost in the Plaza de la Flores or Manilva, the two city limit towns with the province of Cadiz, where we can enjoy the Duquesa marina. In Estepona you can eat in the Escollera, in the fisherman´s port.

The Costa del Sol is a place to visit, and spend one or two days doing so, especially since it is not far away. By car from Malaga city to Salobreña you shouldn´t take longer than and hour and a half approximately.
